My sister had all of these, and read them all a hundred times... me not-a-one, I'm such a loser LOL! I think we should all write a blog entry about what we remember being our favourite 'first' novel - like 80pg or more sort of thing. Hmmm... Fantastic Mr. Fox, or The Mouse and the Motorcycle... I'm off to write...

I read a few of them but I was more into the horse books, like Misty and The Black Stallion. I was a horsey girl through and through. But I thought this cookbook was just so awesome, I couldn't pass it up.

A favorite first novel blog is a brilliant idea. I'm taking note of that for future blogs. My favorite short novel was this book about a girl who loses her horse (go figure) and I cannot for the life of me remember the title. However, another favorite first novel of mine was Island of the Blue Dolphins. I would love to read it again.
