The event that transpired in my life, on this day are true and real. However, I can't believe it really happened!

Today I was walking through my suburb, passing by house after house. I came over a rise in the road. As began to walk up the hill, I saw a white haired man jogging towards me in the distance. As he and I got closer, it became clear this man was old and shirtless... in tiny athletic shorts.

When I say old... I mean OLD. He was probably 80. So, picture a nearly naked 80 year old man running towards you in the middle of January. I was mortified.

Then to make matters worse, a neighborhood chihuahua comes running out of a driveway barking, yapping, and howling at this guy. Apparently, saggy old man skin in the middle of January also offends chihuahuas.

What put the frosting on my shock-cake was when the old man stopped in his tracks and stared down the chihuahua. An old man of all things! What kind of old man does this sort of thing? Shouldn't he be fly fishing or rockin' in the rockin' chair, I thought.

Then, the funniest thing ever happened. The old man charged the chihuahua, throwing up his arms and barking like a dog mixed with roaring like a beast! I almost peed my pants! And the poor little thing went running for it's life, with it's head turned around as far as it's neck would bend, scrambling in shock and terror as the white haired, pasty, maniac charged.

I passed the old man at this point. I had to completely turn my head and force myself to frown to keep myself from laughing out loud. My attempt of a frown met a smile. I just couldn't help it.

I stifled a squeal of laughter into my jacket sleeve. That's not something you see everyday!
